The ILO blanket features a minimalist design that suits a wide range of interiors. Its special appeal comes from the unique colouration, where the interplay of warp and weft threads combined with a raising finish creates a lively, textured surface. This classically beautiful wool blanket is soft and pleasant to the touch, even against bare skin.

100 % wool
Both the weft and the warp yarn are made from the wool fibres of Finnsheep and Finnsheep crossbreeds, which we have obtained from the local farms in Finland, as well as from certified Wool Integrity NZ fibre. The wool’s beautiful blue colour is obtained from locally grown woad – it is dyed with plant dyes in Lappajärvi, Finland. All yarns are spun in the EU area and are mulesing-free wool.

Care:
Only wash if textile is very dirty, otherwise take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while. Hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.
