After being lifted out of the zinc, the jug is hung, allowing excess liquid to drip for 20 minutes. This method is the epitome of rust prevention for iron. For colored can designs, they are hung on hooks and run through a powder coating tunnel, creating an impeccable paint adhesion to the hot-dipped galvanized zinc layer.
